Common knowledge? Must be a European thing.

The National Review has attributed to “the great and good Brit Hume” the surprising and keenly analytic statement that “veep choices don’t determine the election result.” (John O’Sullivan shares 10 thoughts on the Ryan pick – see #9.) And they top it with a cherry by asserting that “Brit is unsurprisingly right.”

Clearly, the GOP has concluded that even common knowledge is too socialist for America. Someone’s got to own every bit of knowledge out there! And why not a keen analytic mind like good ol’ Brit.

I just hope that his copyright hasn’t come through yet – don’t want to find out I’m being sued for infringement.
