Fletcher Forum article on Niger

The Fletcher Forum posted a piece I wrote on Nigerien President Mahamadou Issoufou’s first year in office. Find it here. The one-sentence version: “…during the first year of Niger’s renewed democracy Issoufou’s government has pursued policies that indicate a nuanced understanding of events and a commitment to democracy.”

The Forum is a fantastic publication edited by students here at Fletcher, with submissions from some very experienced and insightful people. Students are able to submit pieces for the the online version. Great website to keep an eye on.
